Tor Hotung-Davidsen, Lynchburg, So., Mid-Distance

Hotung-Davidsen, a sophomore from Oakton, Va., is looking down upon the rest of the competitors in the country following a stellar day at the Division I-heavy Colonial Relays hosted by the College of William & Mary. Hotung-Davidsen finished seventh overall and tops among Division III competitors in the 800-meter run. His time of 1:51.47 is not just #1 in the ODAC, but is fastest in Division III so far this season. It is the second-quickest time in Lynchburg history and is 0.90 seconds off the ODAC record of 1:50.57 set by former Bridgewater College standout Sam Gunther in 2016. Hotung-Davidsen also ran the anchor leg on the Hornets' 4x400-meter relay team. He and teammates Jacob Hodnett, Malik Harvey, and Sam Llaneza finished eighth overall and first among Division III competitors at 3:21.10. That time tops the ODAC chart and ranks ninth in the country.
