Carli Hill, Eastern Mennonite, So., Catcher

Hill, a sophomore from Staunton, Va., helped the Royals to a 6-2 week that included ODAC sweeps of Randolph-Macon (7-4, 8-7) and Lynchburg (7-6, 4-3), a split with Randolph (6-1, 0-1), and a split with nationally 16th-ranked Messiah (2-7, 6-5). Hill went 14-for-30 on the week with at least one hit in all eight games, pushing her current hitting streak to 19 straight games. She doubled twice and homered while driving in five runs and scoring 10 times. Against R-MC, Hill was 4-for-9 with a double, homer, three RBI and four runs scored. She was 3-for-6 with a double, walk and three runs scored versus Messiah. Hill went 3-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored in game on against Randolph, and then finished with a 3-for-8 showing with two runs scored versus Lynchburg.  For the season, Hill is fourth in the ODAC with a .472 batting average.  The Royals leadoff hitter tops the ODAC charts in hits (59), is third runs scored (34), fifth in RBI (33), and sixth in on-base percentage (.493).  She's also ninth in slugging (.656).

Katy Holt, Guilford (Fr. - IF)
Holt went 5-for-8 in GC's losses to Methodist (8-7) and Randolph-Macon (9-8). She was 4-for-4 against the Monarchs with a double, RBI and run scored. She hit a three-run homer at RMC.

Mackenzie Chitwood, Lynchburg (Fr. - C)
Chitwood went 5-for-18 in LC's 4-2 week that included road sweeps of Shenandoah (10-1, 9-2) and Bridgewater (10-0, 9-1). She had two a homer in each game against Eastern Mennonite (L, 7-6, L, 4-3), and knocked a double with a RBI in game two at BC. She collected four RBI with six runs scored on the week, adding three walks.

Harley Jones, Randolph-Macon (So. - 1B)
Jones was 11-for-18 wtih a hit in all six of R-MC's games, leading the Yellow Jackets to a 4-2 week that included sweeps of Guilford (7-2, 9-8) and Emory & Henry (3-1, 9-1). She added two doubles and two homers on the week, driving in six runs while scoring eight. She also walked twice. She was 3-for-6 with a double, homer and three RBI in two losses (7-4, 8-7) at Eastern Mennonite. Her second homer game in game one against E&H.

Taylor Carter, Roanoke (So. - OF)
Carter hit .500 (7-of-14) last week with a double, triple, three RBI, seven runs scored, and three stolen bases. In a split (3-5, 10-1) at Bridgewater, she was 4-for-7 with a double, two RBI, four runs scored, and two steals. She tripled as part of a 3-for-7 in a sweep at Shenandoah (9-1, 11-2), scoring three times while driving in a run and stealing a base.

Cassetty Howerin, Virginia Wesleyan (So. - 1B)
Howering went 10-for-19 with two doubles, a homer, nine RBI and five runs scored in #4 VWC's sweeps of Meredith (10-2, 8-0), Emory & Henry (8-0, 4-0) and Guilford (10-0, 4-3). She was 4-for-7 with a homer, four RBI and three runs scored against Meredith. She drove in three runs against Guilford. She also walked three times on the week, pushing her OBP to .565.
