DANI HUMPHREY, Sweet Briar College, Freshman

Humphrey, a freshman from Vienna, Virginia, won a pair of individual races in Sweet Briar's meet at Washington and Lee University.  Humphrey won both the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly, posting times that fall within the ODAC's current top five in both disciplines.  She touched the wall in 25.75 seconds in the 50 free, and finished the 100 fly in 1:04.11. 

Women's Swimming Honor Roll 

Danielle Dillon, Bridgewater College, Freshman
Dillon continued her exceptional start to the 2009 season with a pair of record-setting victories in BC's Saturday sweep over Greensboro and Guilford at Greensboro. Dillon snapped the school record in both distance swims with an 11:42.78 in the 1,000 yard freestyle event and a 5:40.32 in the 500. Both record-setting performances earned Dillon first-place at the meet.

Allison Semmler, Guilford College, Freshman
Semmler had Guilford's best results in a double-dual meet with Greensboro and Bridgewater.  She placed second in both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle races, and she swam the lead leg on Guilford's 200 medley squad.  She posted individual times of 27.37 (50 free) and 1:00.31 (100 free), and helped the 200 medley relay team to a 2:11.62 finish.

Lynn Bazzel, Washington and Lee University, Senior
Bazzel won two events against Sweet Briar (11/13). She took first in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:37.38 and was a member of the winning 200-yard medley relay squad that touched in with a time of 1:56.64.
