KATIE SALVATI, Washington and Lee University, Sophomore

Salvati, a sophomore from Roselle Park, New Jersey, posted one ODAC top time and nearly a second in a highly competitive tri-match with the University of Rochester and Carnegie Mellon University at CMU.  Salvati  placed second in the both the 200-yard individual medley and 200-yard back stroke.  Her new ODAC seasonal top time came in the 200 IM when she touched out at 2:19.71.  Her time of 2:14.54 in the 200 back places within the top five in the ODAC so far this year.

Justine Merritt, Guilford College, Senior
Merritt won two races and swam on Guilford's 200-yard medley relay squad in the Quakers' triumph over Emory & Henry... she won the 200 freestyle in 2:28.88, a whopping 35 seconds in front of her opponent ... won the 100 breaststroke in 1:28.75, better than 11 seconds faster than runner-up Kelcey Johnson of Guilford... Merritt has won four races this season.
