Dodson, a freshman from Roanoke, Va., went 3-0 at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Maroons in a trio of ODAC matches.  She and partner Corbin Leitch topped doubles teams from Lynchburg (8-0), Bridgewater (8-6) and Randolph-Macon (8-0).  Dodson won her top-tier singles matches against Lynchburg's Krysten Bishiop, 6-0, 6-1, followed by a 6-3, 6-4 triumph versus Megan Mathis of Bridgewater.  She finished her week with a 6-0, 6-0 win against Randolph-Macon's Martha Vlhakis.

Mary Simpson, Guilford, Junior, #1 Singles/#2 Doubles
Simpson went 4-0 in Guilford’s two ODAC wins while making her 2010 first-singles debut… scored a straight-set win over Lynchburg’s Krysten Bishop in her first match at first singles in place of the injured Mackey Wesner… teamed with Megan Fair for an 8-2 second-doubles win at Lynchburg… also won twice the following day against Randolph… won in straight sets against Randolph’s Lori Gerlach and claimed an 8-1 second-doubles victory.
