Whitney Kiser, Bridgewater, So., #1/2 Singles, #1/2 Doubles

Kiser, a sophomore from Mt. Solon, Va., went 7-1 in four matches for the Eagles with Bridgewater picking up a pair of ODAC team wins along the way. In a 9-0 victory over Shenandoah, Kiser paired with Shannon Quinn for an 8-0 win at #2 doubles before earning a 6-2, 6-0, victory at #1 singles. Kiser and Jamiah Lewis took an 8-3 loss at #1 doubles against Virginia Wesleyan, but Kiser recovered for a 6-3, 6-3, win at #2 singles. Kiser and Lewis put themselves in the win column at #1 doubles against Guilford with an 8-1 result. Kiser helped put the caps on a 9-0 team win with a 6-1, 6-1, victory at #2 singles. Kiser and Quinn renewed their partnership in a team win over Southern Virginia with an 8-4 victory at #2 doubles. Kiser returned to top-flight singles with a 6-1, 6-3 win.

Women's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll

Sarah Wyly, LC: went 4-0 in a pair of league wins over Shenandoah (9-0) and Emory & Henry (8-1). Won 8-2 and 8-4 with Christina Harris at #1 doubles to go with 6-0, 6-2 and 6-1, 6-1 victories at #3 singles.

Keyu Jin, RAND: went 4-0 combined at #1 singles and #1 doubles in 9-0 team wins over Hollins and Shenandoah. Posted a pair of 8-0 doubles wins with Aubrey Hawn and earned 6-1, 6-2 and 6-1, 6-0 in singles action.

Gaby Tersigni, R-MC: won 6-0, 6-2 at #1 singles and joined Kristin Dantzler for an 8-6 win at #1 doubles in a 5-4 team win over Roanoke.

Emily Wandling, SBC: picked up her team-leading 10th singles victory of the spring with a 6-0, 6-1 win at the top flight in a 7-2 team victory over Emory & Henry. Added an 8-3 #1 doubles win with AJ Lukanuski. The team triumph marked the first for SBC over E&H since 2015.
