VaSID Releases All-State TeamsDecember 20, 2008ODAC teams put eight players on the VaSID All-State Volleyball Teams, including five of the six places on the second team. Additionally, Emory & Henry freshman Rachel Fertitta (above) was tabbed as the state's top rookie.

WLU's Ulrich Named AVCA All-AmericanNovember 18, 2008The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its 2008 Division III All-America teams on Tuesday and W&L senior right side Jessica Ulrich was named to the Honorable Mention team.

WLU Falls in NCAA First RoundNovember 13, 2008The Washington and Lee volleyball team fell to Mt. St. Joseph, 25-22, 25-18, 25-23, in the first round of the 2008 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional on Thursday afternoon at Wittenberg College.

Phillips, Hoover Earn Top HonorsNovember 10, 2008Washington and Lee's Rachael Phillips (above) earned the 2008 ODAC Player of the Year award. VWC's Andrea Hoover was selected as the ODAC Coach of the Year and was joined by Marlin sophomore Rebecca Leedom as the ODAC/Farm Bureau Scholar-Athlete. Rachel Fertitta (EHC) garnered ODAC Rookie of the Year honors.

WLU Wins Eighth Straight TitleNovember 08, 2008The Washington and Lee volleyball team defeated Lynchburg, 3-0, in the championship match of the ODAC Tournament to capture its eighth-straight conference title.

ODAC Tournament Seeds SetOctober 31, 2008Washington and Lee made its way through the ODAC regular season unscathed, earning the ODAC's top seed. Randolph-Macon, Virginia Wesleyan and Roanoke round out the top four seeds.

Washington & Lee Tops Volleyball Preseason PollAugust 27, 2008Washington & Lee University received ten first place votes and 120 poll points as the Generals were picked first by the leagues coaches in the 2008 ODAC Volleyball Preseason Poll. Randolph-Macon College collected 98 points for second place and Bridgewater College recorded 95 points to round out the top three selections. Virginia Wesleyan College received the final first place nod and finished with 97 total points.
