LC also owns one of two byes thru the quarterfinals. The other is where the first tiebreaker was applied, and it came via a final day results. Bridgewater College held on for a 3-2 victory over Washington and Lee University on Saturday after the Generals pulled to within one goal with less than three minutes to play in regulation.  The Eagles' victory proved the deciding factor in splitting a tie at 6-2 in the conference standings, with the head-to-head result awarding the #2 seed and the remaining quarterfinal bye to Bridgewater.

Washington and Lee will now host one of two quarterfinals on Tuesday as the #3 seed. They will welcome sixth-seeded Roanoke College to Lexington. The Maroons finished the regular season locked with Virginia Wesleyan College at 4-4 in the league table. The Marlins 2-1 overtime win over RC broke the stalemate, securing the #5 position for VWC.  The Marlins will head to Shenandoah Unviersity for a quarterfinal date with the third-seeded Hornets.

The quarterfinals are set to begin on Tuesday, November 1 at times to be determined. Those two winners will join Lynchburg and Bridgewater in the Hill City for the semifinals and championship on Shellenberger Field on Friday and Saturday, November 4-5.  Game times for those are tentatively slated for 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., with the championship tentatively marked for 6:00 p.m. All times are Eastern Time and can be changed barring results of other tournaments and possible facility usage.
