WINCHESTER, Va. – Third-seeded Shenandoah University advanced to the ODAC Tournament semi-finals Tuesday night with a 3-1 quarterfinal victory over Randolph-Macon.
The No. 18 Hornets (17-2) scored three second half goals to overcome a 1-0 deficit in route to victory over the Yellow Jackets (7-12).

Tori Mumm lobbed a ball to the top left of the net on a penalty corner kicking off the scoring for R-MC. Catherine Magill got the assist on the goal.
Even with 15 SU shots, the scored remained the same for the rest of the first half. Yellow Jackets goalie, Kelsey Seiler, stopped 17 shots on the night.
Madison Short delivered a pass right to the stick of
Kelsey Jones, who rocketed a shot, for the game tying goal seven minutes into the third.
Tied in the fourth,
Cassidy Morrison scored the game-winning goal on a
Claudia Lenahan assist with 10 minutes remaining. Morrison scored again on a cross crease pass from Mairead McKibbin just 22 seconds from the final buzzer.
Shenandoah outshot the Yellow Jackets 32-8, holding R-MC to four shots in each half.
Tonight's win ties the 2019 squad for most wins in a season in program history with 17.
