Washington and Lee Goes Wire-to-Wire for Third ODAC Title

2019 ODAC Women's Golf Champions | Washington and Lee University

BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. --- The top three individual finishers donned Generals blue and white as Washington and Lee University completed its second straight wire-to-wire performance to collect the program's third overall ODAC women's golf title on Tuesday afternoon.

Unlike last season save for some chillier than normal temperatures on Sunday, weather was not nearly as much of a concern this weekend at Bryan Park Golf & Conference Center as it was last year in Browns Summit, N.C. Washington and Lee took advantage of the conditions, posting a 78-stroke victory over second place Shenandoah University to spoil the Hornets highest finish in program history.

Washington and Lee also earns the ODAC's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament. The full field will be announced via online release by 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6.
