Ryan Doyle, Guilford, So., Midfielder/Defender
April 06, 2021Doyle, a sophomore from Clayton, N.C., picked the right time to score his first two goals of the season as both proved game-winners to help Guilford run its winning streak to five straight games. The Quakers and Shenandoah played to a scoreless draw thru 90 minutes of regulation and the first of two 10-minute overtime periods before Doyle powered a header past the Hornets' keeper off a feed from Rodrigo Gudino. The tally came 3:37 before the end of the second extra frame for a 1-0 overtime home victory. Doyle was again the hero late-on in a 3-2 victory at Ferrum. The Quakers enjoyed a 2-0 lead thru the midpoint of the second half before the Panthers turned the tables with scores in the 66th and 77th minutes. Doyle came thru a little over three minutes later for his second game-winner of the week, this one off a feed from Joenn Lanza in the 80th minute. Guilford is now 5-2-1 overall and in ODAC play. GC owns the sixth seed in the upcoming ODAC Tournament and travels to Randolph-Macon College on Tuesday for quarterfinal action. -
Kenny Nzekwe, Guilford, So., Forward
March 30, 2021Nzekwe, a sophomore from Owerri, Nigeria, posted two important goals in helping Guilford register two wins against ODAC competition to improve to 3-2-1 on the season. After missing out in the Quakers 1-0 home win over Emory & Henry, Nzekwe return to the lineup to score both goals in the Quakers 2-1 come-from-behind victory on the road at Bridgewater. After the Eagles took a 1-0 lead just 1:04 into the game, Nzekwe collected his second two-goal game of the season with a pair of second-half tallies to complete the comeback. He scored the equaliser via an unassisted effort in the 47th minute and came thru with the would-be game-winner as the click ticked to 58:00 off a feed from Sebastian Salas-Munoz. For the season, Nzekwe second in the ODAC with five goals scored.

Evan Blow, Randolph, Sr., Forward
March 23, 2021Blow, a senior from Charlottesville, Va., continues his in-form season with three more goals to help Randolph to a 1-0-1 week against ODAC competition. Blow opened his week with two goals in a 4-3 win over Roanoke. He converted a penalty kick for the game's second goal in the 38th minute and scored the WildCats fourth goal in the 78th minute. That gave Randolph a 4-0 lead and proved most important with Roanoke scoring three times over a six minute span late-on. Blow helped Randolph earn a result at Shenandoah with a 1-1 draw. His goal in the 48th minute knotted the score at 1-all, a scoreline which maintain throughout the final whistle. For the season, Blow leads the ODAC in points (18) and goals scored (9). He has scored at least one goal in all five of the WildCats fixtures.

Penny Senior, Randolph-Macon, Jr., Forward
March 16, 2021Senior, a junior from Kingston, Jamaica, provided some late-game heroics for Randolph-Macon in the Yellow Jackets 2-1 home win over Ferrum. The Panthers led for much of the contest before Senior helped knot the game at 1-all in the 84th minute by assisting Chazz Jones on his equaliser. With 97-seconds to play, Senior picked the right time to score his first goal of the season off a feed from Colton Howell to improve Randolph-Macon to 3-1 overall and in ODAC play. Senior has registered five points on one goal and three assists this year.

Kade Wheeler, Hampden-Sydney, So, Forward
March 09, 2021Wheeler, a sophomore from Blacksburg, Va., put together a four-point game to help Hampden-Sydney to a 4-2 win on the road at Randolph-Macon. Wheeler assisted Declan Shaw on the second goal of the game in the 27th minute and again provided the helping hand to Emory Davis on the Tigers' fourth goal in the 84th minute. Wheeler registered his first goal of the season on an unassisted effort in the 58th minute, providing the third and ultimately deciding goal in H-SC's win. Hampden-Sydney is now 3-0 overall and in ODAC play.

Luke Mega, Lynchburg, So., Forward
March 02, 2021Mega, a sophomore from Glen Allen, Va., was on-point for Lynchburg as the Hornets opened the 2021 spring regular season with a 6-0 victory at Eastern Mennonite. Last season's ODAC Rookie of the Year tallied five points in the game with two goals and an assist. He assisted on the game's first goal by Ben Mackey, and then added two second-half goals within 58-seconds of each other to help Lynchburg open 1-0 on the season.

Evan Blow, Randolph, Sr., Forward
February 23, 2021Blow, a senior from Charlottesville, Va., unleashed a school record-setting performance to help the WildCats open up the spring season with an 8-0 victory over Emory & Henry. Blow set a new Randolph standard for goals in a game with four tallies. He registered the second goal of the game and then three of the Wildcats five goals in the second half. The eight goals for Randolph are the most in program history against an ODAC opponent. For his career, Blow has racked up 35 points on 12 goals and 11 assists. The win over the Wasps marked his first collegiate multi-goal game.
