ODAC Players of the Week

Henderlite, a sophomore from Roanoke, Va., led the Hornets to a game two victory over York (Pa.) College on Sunday. The sophomore threw his first career complete game shutout in a two-hit effort over nine innings. He fanned nine and walked just two batters. He had five strikeouts through the first four innings. The last hit he allowed was with two outs in the fourth inning, after which Henderlite retired the final 16 batters of the game in order. Henderlite has not allowed a run in his last 15 innings of work to lower his ERA to 0.98.

Armstrong, a sophomore from Greenville, Va., had a breakout week for the Royals, as he batted .550 (11-for-20) with a team high seven runs batted in. Armstrong had a pair of triples and doubles, helping account for a slugging percentage of .850. He also scored six runs. Armstrong had multiple hits in four of EMU's five games, including a 4-for-5 game against Mount Saint Vincent in which he missed hitting for the cycle by a homerun. Twelve games into his EMU career, he is batting .364 with team highs of 16 hits and two triples.

Paglia, a sophomore from Forest Hill, Md., helped lead the Generals to a pair of road wins over Top-10 opponents last week by totaling five goals across the two games. In a 7-6 double-overtime win over top-ranked Salisbury on Wednesday, Paglia scored a career-high four goals and picked up four ground balls. In an 8-7 win over 10th-ranked Denison on Sunday, Paglia scored just one goal, but it was the game-winner with 2:04 left in the contest. For the season, Paglia has tallied seven points on seven goals.

White, a senior from Baltimore, Md., helped lead the W&L men's tennis team to a 2-1 week by going 3-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles over three matches. In an 8-1 loss to top-ranked Emory on Tuesday, he posted a 6-3, 6-2 win over Eric Halpern, who is ranked 23rd nationally in singles. He also led the Generals to wins over Oglethorpe (6-3) and Sewanee (8-1). For the season, White is 11-5 in singles and 5-6 in doubles. He is ranked 12th nationally in singles and 15th regionally in doubles.

Snead, a freshman from Ellerbe, N.C., went 1-0 with a save in a 4-0 week for the Quakers. She entered with two outs and the bases loaded in the fifth inning against William Peace, but struck out the batter she faced to get out of the jam. She ended up finishing that game, allowing four hits and fanning two, to earn the save. In her first collegiate start, Snead fanned a school-record 16 Griffins in Guilford's 8-1 win over Gwynedd-Mercy. She went all seven innings, surrendering one run on three hits while walking three. The 16 punchouts eclipsed the record of 15 set by Jessica Burcham in 2011.

Cutright, a senior from Roanoke, Va., started off the season in solid fourth as she went 7-for-9 and reached base three other times via walks in the Quakers' 4-0 week. She had four extra-base hits in her seven knocks, including a double in the first, third and fourth games. She added a home run in the second game of the week. Cutright scored three times and drove in five more runs, posting an .847 on-base percentage and 1.444 slugging percentage over the four contests. She also stole a base as Guilford swept series with William Peace and Gwynedd-Mercy.

Hurt, a junior from Charlottesville, Va., led the Vixens to a pair of wins in the opening week of Sweet Briar's season. In a 12-11 win over Ferrum, Hurt notched three goals and an assist. Hurt upped the ante in the Vixens' second contest as she recorded six goals and an assist in a 19-6 triumph over the University of Dallas. She also had three draw controls in that contest. The junior midfielder picked up where she left off last season, tying for third in the conference for goals scored (57).

Antoszyk, a sophomore from Charlotte, N.C., is the 22nd ranked player in the South/Southeast Region by the ITA. She went 1-1 in top doubles action, including a tough two-set loss in a high profile match with Mary Washington's Lindsay Raulston (6-4, 7-5 (5)), the 19th-rated player in the country. Antoszyk recovered for a 6-1, 6-1 triumph over Angelina Spotelli from Randolph-Macon College, leading RC to a 9-0 win over the Yellow Jackets.
