The Lead: Roanoke swept all three doubles matches and took all but one singles contest as the Maroons topped Lynchburg 8-1 on Saturday.  

How it Happened

• Emily Henderson topped Valeria Erostegui 6-1, 6-0 in No. 1 singles and Briell Smith topped Erika Hadland 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2.
• Catherine Lee defeated D'Andria Alston-Thom 6-0, 6-0, while Lydia Dey andArabella Goralski picked up at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.
• Henderson and Smith teamed up to beat Alston-Thom and Jerica Simmons 8-0 in No. 1 doubles. Lee and Reed Kegel topped Hadland and Kelsey Dowling in No. 2 doubles, while Emma Barker and Kristen McDowell won at No. 3.
