Guilford Wins ODAC Football Play of the Week Fan Poll for Week 2

FOREST, Va. --- Week two of the ODAC Football Play of the Week Fan Poll feature a quartet of gamebreaking plays. Football fans spoke loud and clear as Guilford College took home the victory by a resounding margin on the heels of a 60-yard catch and sprint to the end zone in the Quakers' 61-35 win over Methodist.

After Methodist scored on the first play of the second half, Guilford responded with a big play thru the air. Quarterback Alex Manley connected with the swift-of-foot Juwan Houston over the middle with a perfectly weighted pass in-stride to the wideout. Houston out-paced a would-be tackler 60 yards to the pylon for his first college score. Houston finished with four catches for 108 yards and this touchdown. Manley threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns. Both helped Guilford to a 61-35 home win.

This week's four nominees were voted on by more than 100 ODAC football fans and garnered more than 3,000 impressions, views, and interactions on the ODAC website, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Houston's catch-and-run from Manley earned 62.3-percent of the fan vote to win by a wide margin.
