ODAC Football Play of the Week Nominees - Week 4

  • ODAC Football Play of the Week - Week 4: Emory & Henry

Emory & Henry went up to New York and came back with a resounding 52-17 win over the University of Rochester. Tyler Redmond was one of the defensive leaders, making an ODAC weekly-high eight tackles. His biggest play came early in the second quarter. With the Yellowjackets deep in Wasp territory, UR took a shot at the end zone thru the air. Jake Jessee met the receiver when the ball arrived, causing it bounce in the air. Redmond snagged the loose ball and started his 100-yard trek thru UR players and E&H blockers, eluding his final would-be tackler at the 15-yard line on the way to a touchdown.

  • ODAC Football Play of the Week - Week 4: Ferrum

Ferrum set several records in its victory over Greensboro, including points scored in an 81-0 shutout. Zack Clifford was in on the standard-breaking as well as he fired four touchdown passes on the way to being the first Panther student-athlete to earn an ODAC weekly honor in any sport. One of his scoring throws covered 60 yards on a connection with Nick Pearce. It didn’t take long for Pearce to beat man-coverage over the middle on a deep cross, and Clifford didn’t miss as he hit Pearce in stride 30 yards down field. Pearce took it the rest of the way for a 22-0 lead early in the second quarter.
