EMORY, Va. - The Emory & Henry College Women's Tennis Team (6-4) got back on the winning track Thursday as it earned an 8-1 win over Johnson University (2-5) at home.

How It Happened
Emory & Henry got out to a 3-0 lead after the doubles portion of the match. Junior Logan Graham (Radford, Va.) and freshman Molly McMichael (Riner, Va.) picked up an 8-0 win at No. 2 while sophomore Payton Holt (Mount Ulla, N.C.) and freshman Tess Flanigan (Marietta, Ga.) won, 8-1, at the top pairing.

In singles action, Holt and Flanigan grabbed easy wins at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. Graham was leading 5-0 in the first set when her opponent retired at No. 3. Junior Cailie Pollard (Rural Retreat, Va.) and sophomore Bailey King (Marion, Va.) also earned wins at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
