Dallas, Penn. - Down 1-0 to start of the second half, junior forward Julissa Martinez (Brentwood, N.Y.) and senior defender Meagan Murdocco (North Babylon, N.Y.) tallied back-to-back scores to lead the FSC women's soccer team to a 2-1 come-from-behind victory this afternoon against Shenandoah.

The Hornets (2-4) started quickly as freshman forward Saige Musser (Denver, Penn.) scored just 2:51 into the game to jump out to a quick 1-0 advantage.

Despite outshooting Shenandoah 6-2 in the first half, Farmingdale State (2-2) entered the break down, 1-0.

Over the first 15 minutes of the second half, FSC sent four shots on net but all were saved by Hornets goalkeeper Kasie Kilmer (Ashburg, Va.).

After a Shenandoah yellow card in the 62nd minute, Martinez notched an unassisted goal to knot the score at 1-1.

Just 3:12 later, Murdocco scored the eventual game-winnier, unassisted, to put the Rams on top, 2-1.

Farmingdale State freshman goalkeeper Chloe Kensell (Monroe, N.Y.) (W,1-0) did not allow a goal over the final 25:13 as she picked up her first collegiate victory.

The Rams next open their Skyline Conference schedule as they host Maritime on Tuesday, September 14th at 4:00 p.m.
