MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
RICKY FLYNN, LYNCHBURG COLLEGE
Flynn, a sophomore from Gaithersburg, Maryland, finished fifth out of 270 competitors at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University.  Flynn ran an 8-kilometer time of 26:02.00, lower his old on the ODAC's top time at that distance by 14 seconds. 

Men's Cross Country Honor Roll
Jeremy Bante, Guilford Helped the Quakers to a first place team finish at the Greensboro Invitational with an 8K time of 28:48.00.
David Kidd, Virginia Wesleyan Ran the second fastest time for a VWC freshman and fourth fastest overall to place 49th at the Don Cathcart Invite with an 8K time of 27:23.00.
Michael Welsh, Washington & Lee Placed 13th at the Paul Short invitational with an 8K time of 26:24.00.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
ASHLEY ROANE, VIRGINIA WESLEYAN COLLEGE
Roanoke, a junior from Chesapeake, Virginia, finished first for the Marlins and 21st in the field of 105 runners in the Don Cathcart Invitational hosted by Salisbury University.  Her 6-kilometer time of 23:29.00 set a new Virginia Wesleyan record and bested her personal top time by 26 seconds. 

Women's Cross Country Honor Roll
Grace Normann, Guilford Led Guilford for the third time in a five races with a career-low 5K time of 22:02.00.
Jennie Pernisi, Lynchburg Placed 42nd at the Paul Short Invite, crossing the line in an LC history second-best 6K time of 24.10.00.
Kat Telfeyan, Washington & Lee Placed 43rd at William & Mary with a 5k time of 23:34.80; W&L was the only D-III team in the field.

FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK
SALLIE ARMSTRONG, WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
Armstrong, a sophomore from Houston, Texas, helped the Generals to a 3-2 victory over Randolph-Macon.  After the Yellow Jackets went ahead with an early goal, W&L responded with three unanswered tallies before halftime with the final pair coming from Armstrong.  Her second tally turned out to be the game winning effort as R-MC tacked on one more score in the second half.

Field Hockey Honor Roll
Elizabeth Sullivan, Bridgewater Made 11 saves and allowed one goal in a 2-1 overtime win at Roanoke.
Alyssa Derstine, Eastern Mennonite Scored the opening goal in the Royals 2-0 shutout of Virginia Wesleyan.
Allie Weir, Lynchburg In a 1-2 week for the Hornets and following two individually scoreless games, she tallied four times in a 7-0 win over Shenandoah
Erika Magee, Sweet Briar Scored the Vixens' goal in a 2-1 loss to Hood.

MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JOSH DODDS, WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
Dodds, a senior from Marion, Iowa, scored each of Washington & Lee's goals in a pair of ODAC wins for the Generals.  Dodds scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Randolph-Macon College.  He followed that up with a goal in the 93rd minute against Eastern Mennonite to defeat the Royals, 1-0.  As a team, W&L is unbeaten through its last six games (four wins, two ties). 

Men's Soccer Honor Roll
Chris Thomas, Bridgewater Scored once and assisted on another to help defeat E&H for the Eagles' first ODAC win of the season.
Jackson Maust, Eastern Mennonite Made eight saves in a scoreless tie to H-SC and followed that up with 10 saves in a 1-0 overtime loss to W&L.
Joe Rigert, Guilford Scored the Quakers' goal in a 2-1 loss to H-SC; now ranked 11th in school history with 17 career goals.
John Robert Plyler, Hampden-Sydney Came away with eight saves in a 0-0 draw with EMU; made four more stops in a 2-1 win over Piedmont.
Jason Ryan, Roanoke Scored one and assisted on another in a 5-0 win over Lynchburg; added an assist in a 2-1 win over VWC.
Chris Williams, Randolph-Macon Scored two goals and helped out on another in a 1-1 week; notched a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win over Lynchburg.

WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
HALEY BUNTING, WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
Bunting, a senior from Houston, Texas, helped the Generals to a 3-0 week with a pair of ODAC wins.  Bunting picked up a goal and two assists in a victory over Emory & Henry College.  Her helpers came on the opening two goals of the game.  The converted defender finished her week with one of two General scores in a 2-0 win over St. Mary's.

Kacie Ruark, Eastern Mennonite Notched two goals and an assist in a 11-0 win over Randolph.
Courtney Prince, Guilford Scored a goal in each of the Quakers' victories this week coming against ODAC foes, E&H and EMU.
Betsy Kwiatkowski, Lynchburg Scored a pair of unassisted goals in the Hornets 2-0 win over Methodist.
Lacy Phelps, Randolph-Macon After falling to VWC, Phelps helped the Jackets rebound to a pair of wins with three goals and four assists.
Erin Hanson, Roanoke Came away with eight saves in helping RC to a 1-1 showing last week.

VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
TRICIA DAVIS, BRIDGEWATER COLLEGE
Davis, a sophomore from New Kent, Virginia, averaged 11.5 assists per game in three matches to help lead the Eagles to three victories this past week. Davis had 42 assists and 11 digs in a 3-0 ODAC victory over Lynchburg. She added 28 assists and three aces in a 3-0 ODAC victory over Sweet Briar. She finished the week with 45 assists and 19 digs in the a four-game victory over Mary Washington.  In total, she racked up 115 assists, 34 digs and four aces. 

Volleyball Honor Roll
Stephanie Owen, Emory & Henry Had 33 kills, hit .329 and had five blocks in a 2-1 week for the Wasps; had 16 kills in a win over EMU.
Courtney Kozar, Guilford Averaged 3.3 kills in a 1-2 week for the Quakers; had 17 kills in a loss to Ferrum.
Dara Sandifer, Lynchburg Had 77 assists and 22 digs in an 0-2 week for the Hornets.
Liz Robinson, Randolph Helped the Wildcats to a 1-1 week with nine kills and seven digs.
April Hines, Randolph-Macon Had 18 kills, nine digs and eight blocks in a 1-1 week for the Jackets.
Jenna Burnop, Roanoke Recorded 19 kills in a 2-0 week for the Maroons.
Ashley Winters, Sweet Briar Led the Vixens with 13 kills and 41 digs on the week.
Kristi Stevens, Washington & Lee Registered 46 assists and 21 digs in a 2-0 week for the Generals.
