MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
RICKY FLYNN, LYNCHBURG COLLEGE
Flynn, a sophomore from Gaithersburg, Maryland, picks up his third Runner of the Week award of the season after leading the Hornets Saturday at the Mike Hodges Invitational, hosted by the University of Oregon.  Flynn crossed the line in 20:25.00 , good enough for 18th place and the first D-III runner in the 142-person field. Division I teams Oregon and Washington finished first and second in the team standings over the four mile course. 

Men's Cross Country Honor Roll
Nathan Rittenhouse, Bridgewater Placed 21st at the Tribe Open with an 8K time of 26:01.00.
Michael Welsh, Washington & Lee Finished 31st at the Tribe Open, posting an 8K time of 26:26.00.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
KAT TELFEYAN, WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
Telfeyan, a sophomore from Chesapeake, Virginia, helped lead the Washington and Lee women's cross country team to a second-place finish out of 23 teams at the DeSales Invitational on Saturday in Allentown, Pa.  Telfeyan finished fifth overall out of 203 runners with a time of 24:23.55, her lowest 6K time of the season. 

Women's Cross Country Honor Roll
Ashley Meyer, Lynchburg Placed 48th out of 189 runners at the Blue Ridge Open with a 5K time of 19:38.

FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ALYSSA DERSTINE, EASTERN MENNONITE UNIVERSITY
Derstine, a sophomore from Telfrod, Pennsylvania, led the EMU offense as the Lady Royals went 2-0 this week in conference play.  The second-year attacker had a goal against Bridgewater College in a 4-0 EMU win while contributing two goals in another 4-0 win, this time against Roanoke College.  Derstine leads the team with nine goals, 21 points, and three game-winning goals while tying for second overall in assists (3). 

Field Hockey Honor Roll
Allie Weir, Lynchburg Scored the game's only goal in a 1-0 Hornet win over VWC.
Cat Cox, Sweet Briar Collected 41 saves over three games for the Vixens including a 20-stop effort against Transylvania.
Sallie Armstrong, Washington & Lee Scored two goals, including the game-winner, in a 3-2 overtime victory over St. Mary's.

GOLFER OF THE WEEK
NATHANIEL JAMES, WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
James, a senior from Keller, Texas, helped Washington and Lee to a tie for fourth place out of 18 teams at the Guilford/Tom O'Briant Memorial Tournament by winning the individual medalist honors.  James shot a seven-under score of 68-67-135 to finish five strokes better than the second-place individual.  Through six rounds this season, James is averaging 71.2 strokes per round.

Brian Creghan, Guilford Shot 5-over-par to finish tied for 16th and lead Guilford at the Tom O'Briant Memorial Tournament.

MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
SCOTT MEGUID, GUILFORD COLLEGE
Meguid, a junior from Durham, North Carolina, led the Quakers with seven points on three goals and an assist to earn his second ODAC weekly award of the season.  He sparked Guilford's comeback 4-3 win over 25th-ranked Greensboro College with two goals in the final 9:34, including the game-winner with 5:22 to play.  He also had an assist in the match.  Meguid scored Guilford's goal in a 2-1 road setback to Lynchburg.  Meguid moved into fifth place on Guilford's career points (56) and assists (14) charts, and now stands ninth at Guilford with 21 career goals. 

Men's Soccer Honor Roll
Matt Swaney, Hampden-Sydney Had three assists in the Tigers 4-0 win over Emory & Henry.
Marcus Jordan, Lynchburg Helped LC to a 2-0 week a shutout, three saves and one goal against; the shutout came in a 2-0 win over Methodist.
Brad Line, Randolph-Macon Scored the game-winning goal against Roanoke to secure the Jackets first win over the Maroons since 1999.
Zane Krezonis, Virginia Wesleyan Started in goal for a second straight game, helping the Marlins to their 8th shutout with six saves in a 4-0 win over EMU.
John Lindsay, Washington & Lee Notched a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win over Bridgewater; W&L is undefeated in 10 games following a 2-0 week.

WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANNE VAN DEVENDER, WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
Van Devender, a junior from Jackson, Mississippi, helped led the Generals to a 3-0 week to earn her second ODAC weekly award of the season.  She tallied 11 points this week on five goals and one assist. With three goals in the win over SBC, Van Devender became just the fourth player in W&L women's soccer history to notch 100 career points. After this week's action, she now owns 44 career goals and 20 career assists (108 career points).

Katie Lamm, Eastern Mennonite Scored twice and assisted on another in a 4-0 win over Southern Virginia
Amber Stapler, Guilford Made 15 saves through a pair of games for the Quakers, including eight in a 1-0 loss to Greensboro.
Kelly Davidson, Hollins Scored three times and helped out on another in Hollins' 5-2 win over Randolph.
Betsy Kwiatkowski, Lynchburg Helped LC to a 2-0 week with three goals and two assists including two scores and a helper against Randolph-Macon.
Victoria Johnson, Randolph Came away with 27 stops in two games for the WildCats... 14 vs. Hollis and 13 against E&H.
Lacy Phelps, Randolph-Macon Scored the game-winning goal on senior day to secure victory over Emory & Henry.
Kristen McCoy, Roanoke Notched all three goals in a 3-0 win over Emory & Henry as part of a 2-0 week for the Maroons.
Kristen Johnson, Sweet Briar Made 43 saves in two games for the Vixens including 24 against Lynchburg and 19 vs. W&L.
Laura Jackson, Virginia Wesleyan Scored one goal in each of the Marlins three victories in a 3-0 week.

VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
LAURA MAURER, WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
Maurer, a junior from Sparta, New Jersey, led the Generals to four match victories at the Christopher Newport Tournament, earning herself all-tournament team accolades.  Over the weekend, she totaled 58 kills and 96 digs.  After the match against Nazareth, Maurer now leads the team this season in kills and digs and is just the seventh player in program history with over 1,000 kills.  In the win over CNU, Maurer also set a new W&L record for digs in a match (40).  She also had 18 kills and two aces against the Captains.

Volleyball Honor Roll
Erika Dynagl, Bridgewater Had 31 kills and a .410 hitting percentage in a 3-0 week for the Eagles; BC is now 24-1 on the season and boasts a 17-match winning streak.
Twyla Sessor, Emory & Henry Picked up 112 digs over the span of four matches including 45 digs in a 3-2 win over Guilford.
Haley Ortmann, Guilford Had 31 kills in two matches for the Quakers including 20 in a loss to Emory & Henry.
Kristen Spinner, Randolph Registered 21 kills in a 1-1 week for the WildCats including 16 winners and a .517 hitting percentage in a win over Mary Baldwin.
Cassidy Jones, Sweet Briar Recorded 26 kills and 19 digs over the course of four matches for the Vixens.
