BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DAVID TONEY, Hampden-Sydney College
Toney, a senior from Mechanicsville, Virginia, batted .500 on the week for the Tigers as he hit two home runs and one double in a doubleheader against Averett University.  Toney followed that performance with a three RBI performance against St. Mary's.  For the week, Toney scored four runs, drove in five runs, and walked twice.

BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
D.W. MOORE, Lynchburg College
Moore, a junior from Lynchburg, Virginia, threw five innings of scoreless baseball on February 2, scattering three hits and five strikeouts. He faced 17 batters and held them to a .176 batting average. 

Baseball Honor Roll
Josh Sumler, Guilford Went 8-for-20 in four games last week, scoring three times and collecting an RBI; he hit safely in each game.
Josh Lane, Guilford Earned the victory with 2.2 innings of relief against Atlanta Christian, striking out two batters.
John West, Hampden-Sydney Game up one run and fanned eight in six innings; earned a no decision, giving up three hits.
Cameron Grant, Lynchburg Went 2-for-6 with a hit in each game against D-II Limestone, scoring three runs.

 SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
SARAH SIMPSON, Washington & Lee University
Simpson, a sophomore from Charlotte, North Carolina, helped the Generals to a pair of ODAC wins in a tri-meet with Guilford and Hollins to close the regular season.  Simpson won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:05.23, improving upon her season-best by .12 seconds.  She also swam a leg in the winning 4x400 relay team. 

Swimming Honor Roll
Justine Merritt, Guilford Won the 100 free (59.84) and placed second in the 200 free (2:12.30) against W&L and Hollins.

 MEN'S INDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
NATHAN TURNER, Bridgewater College
Turner, a junior from Elkton, Virginia, earns his first ODAC weekly honor of the season.  Turner won the shot put and finished second in the weight throw Saturday at the Vince Brown Invitational hosted by Christopher Newport University.  Turner continued his dominance in the shot this winter, winning the event with a toss of 16.03 meters (52 feet, 7.25 inches). He also placed second in the weight throw with a throw of 16.38 meters (50 feet, 5.5 inches). 

Men's Track Honor Roll
4x400 relay team, Lynchburg Team of Rashard Adams, Will Tolbert, Chris Word and Earl Graves set a new ODAC seasonal top time and Susquehanna fieldhouse record with a time of 3:22.52.
Vance Berry, Washington & Lee Set a new W&L record with a time of 15:30.19 in the 5,000 at the Va. Tech Elite Meet.

 WOMEN'S INDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
KATE MASON, Roanoke College
Mason, a junior from Cumberland, Maine, won the 55-meter dash at the Vince Brown Invitational, tying with a runner from NCAA Division I University of Virginia, with a time of 7.25 seconds.  The mark also improved her NCAA championship provisional qualifying position.  She also ran the 200-meter dash, finishing fifth in 25:95.  Mason was a member of the fourth place 4x400-meter relay team that crossed the tape in 4:10.0. 

Women's Track Honor Roll
Michelle Leaman, Eastern Mennonite Matched an EMU school record by placing 8th in the 55 hurdles in 8.61 seconds at CNU; helped break an EMU record in the 4x400 relay (4:22.56).
Danielle Garofalo, Lynchburg Finished third in the high jump (4' 9.75"), fifth in the 55 hurdles (9.15) and fifth in the long jump (16' 4.25").
Dorothy Todd, Washington & Lee Was the first D-III finisher in the 800 (2:28.69) and second D-III finisher in the mile (5:26.19) at the Va. Tech Elite Meet.
