Brandon Ketron, Roanoke, Senior

Ketron, a senior from Abingdon, Va., was the low medalist on the Scarlet Course in the consolation bracket at Camp LeJeune this past weekend, which placed him as the best-finishing ODAC competitor in the field.  Ketron fired three sub-70 rounds during the three round affair (all teams play one round on each the Gold and Scarlet courses in the first two rounds).  He opened with a 3-under 69 on the par 72 Gold Course (7,040 yards), and followed that with a 2-under 68 on the par 70 Scarlet Course (6,120 yards).  The Maroons as a team did not qualification as one of the top 16 teams to play in the championship bracket for round three.  Ketron still stayed hot as he went under par for the third straight round with a 1-under 69 on the Scarlet Course to finish with a 6-under-par 206, two shots clear for Scarlet medalist honors.
