Olivia Bowling, Randolph-Macon, Jr.

Bowling, a junior from Charlotte Hall, Md., won her second tournament of the season last week, capturing medalist honors at the Bridgewater Invitational.  She posted rounds of 72 and 75 towards a three-over-par 147 to win by four strokes on the 5,805-yard par 72 layout at Lakeview Golf Course in Harrisonburg.  Bowling's efforts helped R-MC to second place in the team standings at 80-over 656.  Bowling is currently third in the ODAC with a 78.3 scoring average covering nine rounds of competition.

Women's Golf Honor Roll

Christina Herbert, Bridgewater (Fr. - Williamsburg, Va.)
Herbert finished second at the Bridgewater Invitational, helping BC to the team title (+57; 633).  After opening with a 10-over 82, Herbert rebounded with a three-under 69, setting a new Eagles low-round record and tying the all-time ODAC low-round set just last week by Washington and Lee University freshman Caroline Holloway.  Herbert's seven-over 151 was six strokes better than third place.

Brittany McDonaldson, Eastern Mennonite (So. - Harrisonburg, Va.)
McDonaldson registered her second top-10 performance in as many events played this season, finishing tied for eighth at the Bridgewater Invitational at 29-over 173.  After opening with a 94, she improved 15 strokes with a 79 in round two.

Shannon Ciccarello, Hollins (So. - Stafford, Va.)
Competing in just her third event of the season, Ciccarello notched her third top-10 by placing 10th at the Bridgewater Invitational with a pair of 87's to finish 30-over 174.
