Evan Cox, Virginia Wesleyan, So.

Cox, a sophomore from Ashland, Ky., won his second tournament in as many weeks, claiming medalist honors at the Shenandoah Fall Invitational.  Cox fired a 1-under 71 in the first round with the course set at par-72, and followed that with an even-par 71 with the course shortened by 500 yards and adjusted to par-71.  Cox's efforts were joined by several strong performances by his teammates as the Marlins captured the team title.  VWC shot team rounds of 305 and 293 for a 26-over 598, the second straight sub-600 team score for Virginia Wesleyan in as many tournaments, snapping a string of tournaments that dated back to March 2004 without a sub-600 showing.
