Christina Herbert, Bridgewater, So.

Herbert, a sophomore from Williamsburg, Va., is on a streak not seen in the short history of ODAC women's golf.  She won both tournaments in which Bridgewater competed this week, giving her three individual medals in her three starts this season.  She has earned four individual medals in a row, dating back to her first place finish at the 2015 ODAC Women's Golf Championships.  Herbert started her week by claiming the title at the Generals Invitational, posting rounds of 76 and 75 to finish at 7-over par 151 and one stroke clear of W&L's Liza Freed on the 5,804-yard par-72 layout at the Lexington Golf & Country Club.  BC placed second as a team, six shots back of W&L.  Herbert's second win of the week came at the Bridgewater Fall Invitational.  She carded rounds of 75 and 74 to win by seven strokes at 5-over par 149 on the 5,803-yard par-72 track at Lakeview Golf Club.  BC won the team title by a gaudy 118 strokes.  Herbert leads the ODAC with a 74.0 per round average.

Women's Golf Weekly Honor Roll

Shelby Estes, Hollins (Jr.)
Estes competed at both the Generals Invitational and Bridgewater Fall Invitational last week, leading Hollins in both events.  She tied for 28th in the first event, posting a 37-over 181 (90-91).  She followed that by placing sixth at the Bridgewater Invite at 23-over 167 (81-86).

Liza Freed, Washington and Lee (So.)
Freed led Washington and Lee at the Generals Invitational by placing second overall at 8-over par 152 (78-74), just one stroke behind medalist Christina Herbert from Bridgewater.  Freed's efforts helped W&L to the team title at 625 (317-308), six strokes clear of Bridgewater.
