Freed, a junior from Alexandria, Va., started off her spring season with a third place finish at the Callaway Gardens Intercollegiate. She posted rounds of 75 and 74 on the way to a 5-over par 149. She bested five of the top-11 golfers in NCAA Division III, including the #1 ranked golfer at the time of the tournament. Freed's efforts helped Washington and Lee finish sixth out of 16 teams at 645 following team rounds of 321 and 324.

Christina Herbert, Bridgewater (Jr.)
Herbert tied for seventh at the Pfeiffer Invitational, which featured all NCAA Division II teams outside of Bridgewater and Randolph-Macon. She posted rounds of 77 and 71 on the way to a 148 total. BC placed 11th of 17 teams at 662 (330-332).
