Herbert, a senior from Williamsburg, Va., continued her trend of top-10 finishes as she placed in a tie for 8th at the Jekyll Island Collegiate. Herbert has now finished inside the top-10 in all seven events she has played this season. The reigning national champion opened with a pair of 77's over the first 36 holes, but then improved by three strokes for a 2-over 74 on the Indian Mound Course at Jekyll Island Golf Club. That put her at 12-over 228, 14 shots off the winning pace by Whitman College's Phoebe Nguyen. Herbert continues to lead the ODAC in scoring average at 73.8 strokes per round.

Women's Golf Weekly Honor Roll

Olyvia Longacre, EMU: shot the second-lowest round in EMU women's golf history at the Eagle Invitational hosted by Mary Washington. Carded a 7-over 78 in round one at the Augustine CC in Stafford, Va. Despite slipping with a 96 in round two, she finished second overall at 174, the best finish of her career.
