Brubaker, a sophomore from Raleigh, N.C., won the Hill City Invitational hosted by the University of Lynchburg at the Boonsboro Country Club just outside of Lynchburg, Va. This is her second event medal of the season, joining the title she won at the Bridgewater Invitational in the fall. Brubaker finished at 5-over par 149 following two rounds on the par 72 layout set to 5,804 yards. She opened with a 6-over 78, but rebounded with a career and program record-tying 1-under 71 to post a 12-stroke win over runner-up Amani Narang from Sweet Briar. Brubaker made eight birdies for the tournament, including six in the final round. Lynchburg posted a team total of 642 with rounds of 320 and 233 to finished 66-over par.
