Sanborn, a senior from Mount Airy, North Carolina, picks up his
second ODAC weekly honor of the season and his career.
Sanborn averaged 27.5 points, 15.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game
in Guilford's 2-0 week. He shot 75.9 percent from the floor in the
two games. He had five assists and four turnovers in 59 minutes
over the two games. Sanborn hit for a game- and career-high 29
points, grabbed 18 rebounds and blocked four shots in Guilford's
win over Roanoke. He also dished out three assists and made a steal
in the win. Sanborn totaled 26 points and 13 boards, both game
highs, in Guilford's road win at ninth-ranked Randolph-Macon. He
made 11-of-14 field goals and scored 15 first-half point. The
contest marked his league-leading 16th double-double of the season.
Sanborn needs two rebounds to pass Ben Strong '07 for seventh place
on Guilford's career caroms list (928).
