Woodmore, a sophomore from Virginia Beach, Va., picks up his
second straight weekly award after leading the second-ranked
Marlins (by D3hoops.com) to a pair of wins over the holiday break.
Woodmore scored 54 points in those contests, including a
career-high 35 in a 108-80 win over Lynchburg College. That
total was eight short of tying VWC's single-game scoring
record. He hit career-high totals of 13 field goals,
including five triples, against the Hornets. He also scored
19 points in a 96-74 victory over Wesley College. For the
week, Woodmore connected on 19-of-34 field goals and 7-of-15
three-pointers. He also pulled down nine rebounds and dished out
five assists as Virginia Wesleyan moved to 9-1 on the season.
