Vaughn, a senior from Woodbridge, Va., posted a pair of
double-doubles last week to help the second-ranked Marlins win
their 11th straight contest and improve to 11-1 on the season.
Vaughn led off his week with 17 points and a career-high 16
rebounds in a big 100-80 win on the road at Hampden-Sydney.
Eight of his rebounds came via the offensive glass. He
finished shooting 7-of-13 from the field and 3-of-4 from the line.
On Sunday, Vaughn capped his week with a season-high 18
points to go with 10 rebounds and a pair of blocked shots. He
shot 8-of-11 from the field and cashed in 2-of-3 free throws in the
Marlins 99-47 win over Haverford. The double-doubles were his
first two of the season and the 15th and 16th of his career.
Vaughn is currently third in the ODAC with 21 blocked shots
and is averaging 13.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.
