JORDAN ALEXANDER, Guilford College, Senior, Forward

Alexander, a senior from Mandeville, La., provided a great offensive spark off the bench in two Guilford wins at the Cougar Classic over the weekend.  Alexander tallied six points on two goals and two assists in two games.  He had a goal and two assists for a season-high four points in Guilford’s 5-1 win over Piedmont.  The forward came back a day later with a second-half goal in the Quakers’ win over LaGrange.  Alexander has a team-high 10 points on four goals and two assists this season.  He has scored all of his points in the last three games, all Guilford wins.

Men's Soccer Honor Roll

Travis Morris, Bridgewater College, Junior, Goalkeeper
Morris allowed just one goal in two games at the Randolph-Macon Select Tournament. Morris recorded a 1-0 shutout victory over Washington College to lead the Eagles to their first win of the year. He finished with 10 saves in the match.

Bryan Wharton, Hampden-Sydney College, Junior, Forward
Wharton scored all three of the Tiger goals this weekend in the Hampden-Sydney Classic. On Saturday, he posted two tallies in a 2-0 victory over Moravian College and followed that up with a score against reigning CAC Champions and NCAA Tournament participants Catholic University.

Corey Swindle, Randolph College, Freshman, Midfielder
Swindle posted the school’s first ever hat-trick in men’s soccer history, netting three goals against the Panthers of Ferrum College. He also assisted on another goal in that contest, helping with one of Jacob Hood’s two goals. On the year, Sindle has five goals and one assist.

Mike Urbanik, Randolph-Macon College, Senior, Midfielder
Urbanik scored both of the Yellow Jackets’ goals in their 2-1 overtime win against Ferrum on the way to being named the MVP of the Randolph-Macon Select Tournament.
