Marc Dinkel, Roanoke, Jr., Midfielder

Dinkel, a junior from Basel, Switzerland, had a hand in all three goals in the Maroons 3-1 victory over Bridgewater College, helping Roanoke to a 1-0-1 week.  Dinkel assisted on the game's opening goal and then helped put RC back in front in the second half with his second assist.  He capped the games scored with a 20-yard free kick from his prefer left foot to the near post.  Roanoke went on to tie Virginia Wesleyan College, 0-0, on Friday evening, keeping the Maroons undefeated in conference play and atop the ODAC standings at 4-0-1 (7-2-2 overall).  Dinkel leads the ODAC in points (20) and goals scored (7), and is tied for tops in assists (6).

Men's Soccer Honor Roll

Adam Moyer, Eastern Mennonite (Sr., M - Harleysville, Pa.)
In a 1-1 week for EMU, Moyer scored the Royals lone goal in a 1-0 road win at Randolph-Macon, giving EMU its first ODAC win the season.

Jonny Goffredi, Guilford (So., M - Fayetteville, N.C.)
Goffredi scored the game-tying goal in the 62nd minute against Randolph, helping Guilford to a 1-1 draw with the WildCats.  The goals was scored while the Quakers were playing a man down.

Ryan Turner, Hampden-Sydney (Fr., F - Raleigh, N.C.)
In the Tigers 1-0-1 week, Turner scored both goals in H-SC 2-0 win on the road at Emory & Henry.

Luke Moore, Lynchburg (Sr., F - Richmond, Va.)
In a contest of Hornets, Moore scored twice in LC's 4-0 home win over Shenandoah.

C.J. Montalbano, Randolph-Macon (So., GK - Charlottesville, Va.)
Montalbano recorded 11 saves in the Yellow Jackets' 2-0 loss at Mary Washington.

Albert Civitarese, Washington and Lee (Sr., GK - Bridgeville, Pa.)
Civitarese made eight overall saves to help the Generals to a pair of shutout wins last week.  He made four stops in a 4-0 victory at EMU, and followed that with four more saves in a 2-0 triumph over Bridgewater.
