Pugh, a junior from Augusta, Ga., went 2-0 this week in singles and 1-1 in doubles. In the Tigers’ victory over Guilford on Tuesday, Pugh teamed with William Moss to win their No. 1 doubles match 9-8 (7-3), and he won his No. 2 singles match by a score of 6-0, 6-0. In Hampden-Sydney’s loss at #14 Salisbury on Friday, Pugh was the lone bright spot for the Tigers, winning his singles match 7-6 (7-1), 6-3, while dropping his doubles match 9-7 to the regionally fifth-ranked Seagulls.
