Logan Carter, Randolph, Sr., Pitcher

Carter, a senior from Richmond, Va., picked up a pair of complete game victories last week, improving her season record to 9-3 and tying atop the league in wins.  Carter gave up one run on seven hits with one walk and eight punchouts over seven innings of work to defeat Ferrum, 7-1.  She followed that with another strong seven-inning showing in which she surrendered one unearned run on eight hits with two walks and a pair of strikeouts in a 3-1 win at Bridgewater.  Carter leads the ODAC in appearances (15), starts (11) and innings pitched (72.0).  She's also #1 with 68 strikeouts and her 1.75 earned run average ranks fifth in the league.

Rebekah Langston, Guilford (Fr, P - Washington, N.C.)
Langston won twice last week for the Quakers, once in relief.  She picked up the win as a starter against Mary Baldwin, giving up three runs (one earned) on three hits with four walks and four strikeouts in four innings of work during an 8-4 GC triumph.  She came on in relief against EMU, tossing 3.1 innings of one-hit ball with three walks and three punchouts to earn the victory in a 5-4 Quakers' win.

Amber Ingram, Lynchburg (Jr., P - Floyd, Va.)
Ingram went the distance in game two against 18th-ranked Christopher Newport as she gave up one run on six hits with three walks and nine strikeouts over seven innings of a 4-1 LC win.  She also helped herself at the dish with a two-run homer in that contest.

Kelsey McLaughlin, Randolph-Macon (Fr., P - Richmond, Va.)
McLaughlin went all five innings in a shortened complete-game win over Emory & Henry, 11-1.  She gave up one run on one hit with three walks and five strikeouts.

Mackenzie Creech, Virginia Wesleyan (Sr., P - Hillsborough, N.C.)
Creech went started and went six innings, getting a no decision in the Marlins 9-5 extra innings win over #15 Emory University in game one of a doubleheader split.  She gave up four runs on nine hits with one walk.  She came back with five full innings in a shortened complete-game win over Emory & Henry, 10-2.  She surrendered two runs on three hits with five strikeouts.  Creech is now 9-0 on the season, tied atop the ODAC in wins.  Her 1.57 ERA is third in the league.
