Madison Gilman, Randolph-Macon, Jr., Catcher

Gilman, a junior from Glen Allen, Va., was a clutch performer in four one-run wins for Randolph-Macon, helping the Yellow Jackets to six victories overall last week.  Gilman hit .400 (8-for-20) with three multi-hit games.  She smacked four doubles and a pair of homers to go with seven runs batted in and four runs scored.  She clubbed both homers in a 7-3 win over Eastern Mennonite, adding three RBI.  She had two hits and drove in both runs in a 2-1 win at Guilford.  In game two against the Quakers, She had a run-scoring double in a 4-3 triumph.  Gilman was involved in both game-winners in a sweep of Emory & Henry.  She scored the game's only run in a 1-0 victory in game one.  She registered two hits in game two, including a game-deciding RBI double in the seventh towards a 4-3 win.  Gilman has now doubled in four straight games.  Gilman is seventh in the league in batting (.421) and OBP (.477), while she's third in slugging (.737).  Her 32 RBI are fourth.

Softball Player Honor Roll

Jasmine Johnson, Eastern Mennonite (Fr., IF/C - Staunton, Va.)
Johnson went 6-for-16 (.375) last week with a triple, homer and five RBI to go with four runs scored.  She went 3-for-3 with three RBI in a 10-0 win at Southern Virginia.  Her homer and two RBI came in a 9-4 loss to Randolph-Macon.

Rachel Howard, Guilford (Sr. IF - Efland, N.C.)
Howard was 6-for-14 (.429) from the dish with a pair of doubles in the Quakers six game week (2-4), which featured the Quakers' first road sweep of Lynchburg in school history.  She was 3-for-3 with a double and a RBI in a 2-1 loss to Randolph-Macon.

Danielle Powell, Lynchburg (Jr., 3B/RF - Vinton, Va.)
Powell supplied the power with three homers and a double in the Hornets 4-2 week.  She had two homers, both solo shots, in a 3-2 loss to Guilford.  She had a double and three RBI in a 12-0 win at Bridgewater, and drilled a two-run homer with two walks in a 3-0 win over Eastern Mennonite.  She was 7-for-16 (.438) with nine RBI and six runs scored for the week.

Hunter Glave, Randolph (So., 1B - Ashland, Va.)
Glave went 7-for-12 with a pair of doubles, two RBI and five runs scored last week.  She was also walked five times, helping her to a .706 OBP.  She was 4-for-5 in a double each in both ends of a doubleheader split with Emory & Henry.  She went 3-for-3 with three runs scored in an 11-3 win over Bridgewater.

Samantha Baldwin, Roanoke (Fr., C - Bedford, Va.)
Baldwin was 2-for-3 with a three run homer and four RBI in a 10-6 win over Shenandoah.

Courtney Bogan, Virginia Wesleyan (Jr., OF - Round Hill, Va.)
Bogan hit .619 (13-for-21) with two doubles, seven RBI and 10 runs scored in the Marlins 6-0 week.  She had 11 overall stolen bases, including six in a sweep of Guilford.  Four of those, a career-high, came in game one.  She had three hits in that contest, and notched three more knocks with two stolen bases in an 8-0 win at Emory & Henry.  She was 4-for-4 with three stolen bases in a sweep of Sweet Briar.
