Darby Kozan, Guilford, Jr., Outfielder

Kozan, a junior from Morgantown, Pa., registered four multi-hit games in the four games she started and made two other appearances as a pinch-runner in helping Guilford to five wins in her six games played. Kozan went 11-for-14 (.786) for the week, picking up a pair of two-hit games, a three-hit outing, and one four-hit contest along the way. She was 3-for-4 in a 5-3 win at Meredith, and followed with a 2-for-3 showing with a run scored in a 5-3 win over Salem. She was 4-for-4 with a triple, two runs driven in and a run scored in an 8-4 win over Averett. She capped her week with a 2-for-3 showing in game two against the Cougars, scoring a run and stealing a base in a 5-4 victory. In the field, Kozan was perfect in nine chances in the outfield and added an assist on a putout at home against Salem.

Softball Player Honor Roll

Taylor Mabry, Lynchburg (So. - UT)
Mabry went 8-for-20 in helping Lynchburg to a 5-1 start. She belted a grand slam to power LC to a 5-0 win at Methodist, and drove in another run in game two for a 14-2 win over the Monarchs. She doubled and drove in a pair in a 3-0 win over Ferrum, accounting for her third two-hit game of the week.

Rachel Guilliams, Roanoke (Sr. - UT)
Guilliams opened the season 3-for-5 in a sweep of Averett. She tripled and drove in three runs with a stolen base in a 4-3 win in game one, and went 2-for-2 with a RBI  and a walk in a 9-1 victory in game two.

Lindsay Corbin, Shenandoah (Sr. - P/OF)
Corbin went 8-for-16 with three doubles, two homers and 10 RBI despite SU's 1-3 week. She doubled twice and drovei n three runs in a 13-4 win over Southern Virginia. She belted a homer and drove in three as part of a three-hit day in a 10-8 loss to Frostburg. She followed with a homer and four RBI with two runs scored in a 12-11 setback at Salem. Corbin scored seven runs on the week.

Cassetty Howerin, Virginia Wesleyan (Jr. - 1B)
Howerin started off the season going 2-for-3 with two walks, a homer, and four runs driven in. She was 1-for-2 with two RBI in an 8-0 in game one against Susquehanna. She followed with a homer in her only official at bat, driving in two more and walking twice in a 4-1 win in game two.
