Harley Jones, Randolph-Macon, Jr., First Base

Jones, a junior from Brodnax, Va., opened the season with a powerful display in helping Randolph-Macon start 4-0 with series' sweeps of Frostburg State and TCNJ. Jones was the difference-maker in game one against FSU, smacking a three-run shot in a 3-2 victory. She added another RBI with a double and a run scored in a 5-4 win in game two. Jones was back at it in a 4-3 win in game one against TCNJ, cracking a two-run homer and putting down a perfect squeeze bunt. She then collected a hit in her only official at bat with two walks with an 8-0 triumph in game two. For the season, Jones is hitting .444 with an ODAC-best 1.222 slugging percentage. 

Softball Player Honor Roll

Caley Hodge, Emory & Henry (Jr. - 3B)
Hodge went 5-for-7 with three doubles and a RBI in a sweep at Methodist. She scored once in game one while going 3-for-3 with two doubles and a walk. She was 2-for-4 in game two with her remaining two-bagger.

Katy Holt, Guilford (So. - IF)
Holt went 8-for-12 with a homer, seven RBI and six runs scored in GC's sweep of Mary Baldwin, win over Southern Virginia, and split with William Peace. She was 3-for-3 with three RBI and three runs scored in a 24-0 win over Mary Baldwin. She had two RBI in an 8-0 win over WPU. Her homer came in a 5-3 loss in game one two WPU.

Skylar Dickens, Lynchburg (Jr. - OF)
Dickens went 3-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored in a split with Mary Washington. She drove in two runs in a 13-3 win in game two.

Kiersten Richardson, Virginia Wesleyan (Jr. - IF)
Richardson went 5-for-13 with eight runs scored, three doubles, two RBI and four stolen bases in VWC's 4-0 week with sweeps of N.C. Wesleyan and Meredith. Was belted a pair of doubles and scored two runs in a 5-0 win over NCWC in game one, and scored three runs with a RBI in game two (10-0). She stole three bases and walked twice in a 9-1 win over Meredith in game one.
