Kiersten Richardson, Virginia Wesleyan, Jr., Shortstop

Richardson, a junior from Richmond, Va., did more than just set the table as the Marlins leadoff hitter in Virginia Wesleyan's 8-0 week. Richardson went 15-for-26 from the dish with six doubles, 14 runs scored, six runs driven in, three walks, and 12 stolen bases. She had a hit in each contest with four multi-hit games. Richardson was 7-for-13 with five runs scored, two doubles, a RBI, two walks and seven stolen bases in VWC's 4-0 run thru the Beach Blast tournament. She had two hits with a double and two stolen bases in the 11th-ranked Marlins first-ever sweep of Salisbury. She collected three doubles and five RBI with three stolen bases in a sweep of Sweet Briar in the midweek. For the season, Richardson leads the ODAC in runs (26), doubles (9), and stolen bases (20). She is second in hits (22) and third in walks (7).

Courtney Herron, Emory & Henry (Fr. - SS)
Herron went 6-for-10 with two doubles and five RBI as the Wasps went 4-0 last week. She was 3-for-3 with two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored in a 10-1 win over Oberlin. She had two hits and two RBI in a 4-3 victory over Marietta, tying the game with a hit in the seventh inning.

Sabrinia Moreno, Guilford (So. - OF)
Moreno extended her hitting streak to 18 games (dating back to last year) with a 3-for-3 showing in a 6-5 loss at Greensboro. She belted two homers and drove in three runs while scoring a pair.

Taylor Mabry, Lynchburg (So - P/UT)
Mabry had just one hit in five at bats in the Hornets sweep of Averett, but her knock was a big one as it cleared the bases for a grand slam homer in the bottom of the sixth in game two. That was the first of three homers hit in the inning by LC, turning a 3-0 deficit into a 6-3 win.

Skylar Toth, Randolph-Macon (Jr. - OF)
Toth helped the Yellow Jackets to a 6-0 week by going 8-for-13 with a homer, six RBI and three runs scored. She had two hits with a homer and three RBI in a 9-1 win over Eastern, and had two more hits with a RBI and a walk with a 4-2 win over Manhattanville at the Beach Blast tournament.

Taylor Carter, Roanoke (Jr. - OF)
Carter had a double in all four games of Roanoke's 3-1 week, going 6-for-13 overall with two RBI and four stolen bases. She was 2-for-3 in an 11-0 win over Mount Union and swiped two bags while going 2-for-4 in a 6-2 win over Catholic. She scored five runs over those two contests.

Lindsay Corbin, Shenandoah (Sr. - P/OF)
Corbin went 9-for-15 with two doubles, a homer, 10 RBI and three runs scored in teh Hornets' 2-2 week. She was 4-for-4 with a double and a homer on the way to seven RBI and two runs scored in a 12-3 win over Keuka. She had two hits each in a win over Buffalo St. (9-8) and a loss to Rutgers-Camden (9-4).
