Guardalabene, a freshman from Charlotte, N.C., helped the Wasps move to 2-0 in dual meets with three individual event wins and the anchor leg of a relay victory in Emory & Henry's 156-99 win over Hollins. Guardalabene, whose wins also set school records, touched the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard individual medley, and then helped the Wasps to a win in the 400-yard medley relay. Her time of 2:05.98 won the 200-free by 46.34 seconds, while her margin of victory in the 100-fly was just 2.84 seconds after tapping out in 1:04.28. Guardalabene capped her individual showing with a 2:21.84 showing in the 200-IM, winning by 8.72 seconds. E&H recorded a 4:33.60 time in the 400-medley relay, winning by 1:08.28.

Crowther helped lead the Bridgewater Eagles swim team
to a sweep of Guilford and Greensboro in an ODAC tri-meet. Crowther
won two individual events, including a school record-setting
performance in the 50 meter freestyle (28.93). Her second
individual event win was in the 100-yard freestyle (1:05.07).
The junior also helped the Eagles set a new school record in
the 200 meter freestyle relay (1:58.84).
