Kira Tomenchok, Washington and Lee, Fr.

Tomenchok, a freshman from Richmond, Va., picks up her second weekly award of the season after helping the Generals to a dual meet victory over Catholic University.  Tomenchok won the 100-yard backstroke in 0:59.84, an event in which she already owns the league's best mark.  She also won the 100-yard butterfly in 1:00.95.  She and her teammates captured the top prize in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 4:03.90.

Women's Swimming Honor Roll

Allison Stewart, Bridgewater (Jr. - Poquoson, Va.)
Stewart helped the Eagles to first place in a tri-meet with Guilford and Notre Dame of Maryland.  She won the 50-free in 31.34 seconds, and finished second in the 100-free in 1:12.54.  She added a third-place showing in the 800-free in 11:47.46.  She and her teammates won the 200-medley relay in 2:20.63.

Isabel Gutierrez, Guilford (Fr. - Greensboro, N.C.)
Gutierrez set the school record in the 400-IM with a winning time of 6:22.23 to pace GC in a tri-meet with Notre Dame of Maryland and Bridgewater.  She finished second in the 200-breaststroke in 3:08.74, the second-fastest time in school history.  Her third place time of 1:27.90 in the 100-breaststroke is fourth-best in the GC books.  She and her teammates finished fourth in the 200-medley relay in 2:35.97.

Megan Granger, Randolph-Macon (Fr. - Midlothian, Va.)
Granger helped R-MC to a first place showing in a tri-meet with York (Pa.) at Frostburg State.  She won the 200-free in 2:21.61, and added a win the 400-free in 5:03.53.  She and her teammates stopped the watches first in the 200-medley relay in 2:12.79.  The meet was competed in short-course meters.
