Katelyn Vieni, Randolph-Macon, Jr.

Vieni, a junior from Mechanicsville, Va., put together a stellar weekend at the Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by Randolph-Macon College. Vieni won both the 200-yard and 400-yard individual medley events and set a program record in the shorter event. Her time of 2:08.68 in the 200-IM not only stands atop R-MC's record book entries, but it ranks second in the ODAC this season. Her time of 4:41.77 in the 400-IM is fifth in the league. Vieni added a second place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:07.22, also the fifth-fastest time in the conference. Vieni completed in three relays with a pair of third place finishes and a fifth place posting. She lead-off the Yellow Jackets third-place 200-yard freestyle relay squad with Caroline Russell, Kelsey James, and Kelsey Craighead joining her on a time of 1:41.61. Vieni and Russell were joined by Kierra Parsons and Melina Christou in finished third in the 800-yard freestyle relay in 8:06.66. Tess Williams joined Vieni, Craighead, and Russell in placing fifth in the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:46.01.
