Mullen, a senior from Purcelville, Va., helped Bridgewater to a
2-0 week in ODAC play in which she became the 18th player in Eagles
women's basketball history to eclipse the 1,000-point plateau.
Mullen started off her week with 13 points, four rebounds,
four assists and four steals in Bridgewater's 52-50 comeback win
over Lynchburg College, marking the first conference loss of the
season for the Hornets. Mullen to its second road win of the
week on Saturday with 26 points in a 65-55 victory at Emory &
Henry College. She added four boards, four assists and four
steals in that game as well. She reached the 1,000-point mark
against the Wasps, finishing the game with 1,002 points in her
career. For the season, Mullen is second in the ODAC in
scoring at 15.8 points per game, and is third in steals with 29.
She has notched double figures in all but one of
Bridgewater's nine games played this season.
