Greene, a senior from Hampton, Va., set a pair of Hollins career
records in route to helping HU to a 2-1 week that included an ODAC
win over Washington and Lee. Greene poured in 30 points on
10-of-15 shooting from the field and an 8-of-11 showing from the
line in a 76-71 win over Hood to open the week. She added
eight boards, three assists and four steals, the latter total
catapulting her to #1 all-time at Hollins. Two nights later
in a 72-70 last-second loss to Emory & Henry, Greene became the
program's all-time leading scorer with 22 points on a 7-of-12
effort from the field. She canned 7-of-9 free throws while
adding eight boards, three assists and two steals. Greene
capped her week with a 9-of-14 field goal shooting night on the way
to 23 points in a 64-54 triumph over W&L. She chipped in
five boards, four assists and four steals. Greene, who is
also the all-time record holder in assists at HU, leads the ODAC in
steals (45) and free throws made (61) and is second in scoring
(17.8 ppg).
