King, a junior from Teachey, N.C., helped Guilford to a pair of
conference wins over the past week as the Quakers topped Emory
& Henry College (73-58) and Virginia Wesleyan College (58-49)
to push their winning streak to eight straight games. King
shot 69.6-percent from the floor on the way to averaging 18 points
over the two wins. She also averaged 8.5 rebounds and 2.0
blocked shots. During the midweek, King matched a career-high
with 22 points on 10-of-14 shooting against the Wasps. The 10
field goals is a personal-best. She also added seven
rebounds. Over the weekend, King notched 14 points and 10
rebounds for her third double-double of the season. She also
notched four blocked shots, which contributed to the Quakers'
school record 11 for the game. The four rejections move her
into fourth in the GC record books (96).
