Woods, a sophomore from Richmond, Va., helped the Yellow Jackets secure two more victories to run their winning streak to six straight games with a pair of double-doubles against ODAC foes. Woods opened with 17 points and 15 rebounds in a 68-62 victory over Shenandoah, leveling the season-series between the two teams. She was 8-of-15 from the field and chipped in two assists and two steals. Of her 15 rebounds, 10 came via the offensive glass and helped Randolph-Macon to 22 second-chance points. In a 73-43 victory over Roanoke, Woods registered 18 points and 15 more rebounds. She was 7-of-13 from the field and 4-of-6 from the stripe, adding in three assists to her line. She again pulled down 10 offensive boards, helped R-MC to 20 second-chance points. She was especially effective in the second quarter with six points and six boards to help R-MC to a 10-point lead at the half. For the season, Woods is second in the ODAC in rebounding (11.2) and averages 9.9 points per game. She is second in total offensive rebounds (107) and overall rebounds (201). She is third in the league with eight double-doubles.

Bridgewater split a pair of ODAC games for the fourth straight week, defeating Randolph (79-49) before falling at Lynchburg (58-49). Rebecca Harvey posted a game-high 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting including 3-of-6 from deep against the WildCats. She added six rebounds. At LC, she went for eight points and five rebounds with a pair of assists.

Eastern Mennonite dropped a pair of outings to Virginia Wesleyan (53-51) and Emory & Henry (81-72), marking three straight setbacks. Myneshia Walker dropped in 44 combined points, beginning with 17 markers and six rebounds with two steals against VWU. She upped her output to a game-high 27 points on 11-of-23 shooting including three-made three-pointers against E&H.

Emory & Henry won twice to move to 7-3 and a tied for third with Guilford. The Wasps have now won three straight thanks to victories over Washington and Lee (72-55) and at Eastern Mennonite (81-72). They are one victory away from securing their fourth straight 15-win season, which would tie a program record (1999-00 and 2002-03). Taylor Blevins opened her strong week with 18 points and five rebounds against W&L. She was 9-of-12 from the field. She tied for team-high honors with 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field. She added three rebounds.

Guilford joins Emory & Henry at 7-3 in league play after splitting two games with a last-second loss at Roanoke (53-52) and a victory over Washington and Lee (60-44). Lauren Ramsey filled up the box score at RC with nine points, 13 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and three blocked shots. She went for 17 points on 7-of-10 from the field with seven boards, five assists, three steals, and two blocked shots against W&L.

Hollins lost three times last week to Lynchburg (81-61), at Virginia Wesleyan (63-25), and against Wilson (58-49), extending HU's skid to nine straight. LaChrisha Hill opened her week with 13 points and four boards off the bench against LC. She followed with eight points and three boards with a blocked shot at VWU. She then exploded for a season-high 26 points with 11 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season against Wilson. She was 12-of-21 from the field and chipped in a steal and a blocked shot.

Lynchburg won twice to move to 8-2 in league play, tying atop the standings with Randolp-Macon. LC won at Hollins (81-61) and against Bridgewater (58-49). Molly Shephard was solid in the two outings, posting 13 points with five rebounds, four assists and a steal at HU. She was 5-of-6 from the field in that contest. She followed with 17 points and eight boards against BC, going 6-of-10 from the field.

Randolph fell at Bridgewater (79-49) and to Shenandoah (66-50) in two outings last week, extending the WildCats skid to five straight games. Jade Jarvis posted a personal season-high 13 points at BC, hitting 5-of-8 from the field and 3-of-4 from the stripe. She added eight rebounds to her line. She posted four points and 10 rebounds versus SU. Her rebound totals tied for game-high honors in both outings.

Roanoke split two league games for the second straight week with a last-second win over Guilford (53-52) and a loss at Randolph-Macon (73-43). Molly Hassell not only posted a game-high 15 points against GC, but it was her final two that sealed the Maroons' victory just before time expired. She was 5-of-10 from the field and 3-of-7 from deep, adding in four boards to her line. She was held in check at R-MC with two points to go with five boards and three assists.

Shenandoah dropped its first game at Randolph-Macon (68-62), but recovered for a win at Randolph (66-50) to snap its five-game losting streak. Jordan Sandrol was strong in both outings, beginning with 17 points and eight rebounds at R-MC. She upped the ante at Randolph with 26 points on 9-of-17 shooting including 4-of-8 from deep. She added 10 rebounds for her third double-double and chipped in two assists and two blocked shots. She was 5-of-5 from the line for the week.

Virginia Wesleyan has now won five straight games after picking up victories at Eastern Mennonite (53-51) and over Hollins (63-25). Amanda Gerni registered 10 points with four boards at EMU. She hit a pair of three pointers and was 4-of-6 from the stripe. She led all players with 15 points against HU. She was 4-of-8 from downtown and 3-of-4 from the line, adding in two steals.

Washington and Lee lost twice on the road at Emory & Henry (72-55) and at Guilford (60-44). Emily Perszyk posted a game-high 21 points at E&H as she was 3-of-6 from deep and 8-of-8 from the line. She added three steals and two assists. She was held to just seven points at GC with three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
