Kagey, a junior from Roanoke, Va., picks up her second ODAC weekly award of the season after leading Randolph-Macon to a pair of conference victories. The Yellow Jackets have now won four straight games and sit just one game back of Washington and Lee in the ODAC standings at 11-2 in league play with a 14-5 overall record. Kagey opened her week with 28 points and 11 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the year in a 65-49 victory over Shenandoah. She was 9-of-18 from the field and 9-of-11 from the foul line. She added three assists and four steals to her line with three of her 11 boards coming via the offensive glass. Cagey followed that outing with 15 points and seven rebounds in a 73-60 win over Averett. She was 6-of-9 shooting with a 3-for-5 showing from the charity stripe. She chipped in three assists, two steals, and three blocked shots to complete her well-rounded night. For the season, Cagey is second in the ODAC in scoring (15.8) and ranks third in total points (285), field goals made (108-of-219), free throws made (66-of-102), rebounding (9.1), total boards (164), and defensive rebounds (117). She is fifth in field goal shooting (49.3%), assists (61), and blocked shots (22).
