E'leyna Garcia, Guilford, Jr., Attack

Garcia, a junior from Plantation, Fla., picks up her second weekly award of the season after helping the Quakers to a 1-1 week.  She scored 13 goals over the two games, including a school-record 10 tallies in Guilford's 21-7 triumph over cross-town rival Greensboro.  Her outburst broke the former nine-goal standard that was set in 1993.  Garcia, who had three goals and an assist in a 14-12 loss to Rochester Institute, moved into seventh place on the GC all-time goal-scoring list with 121 goals in 38 games played.  Garcia also collected three draw controls in each contest.

Women's Lacrosse Honor Roll

Taylor Chamberlain, Bridgewater (Va.) - (Jr, Attack - Finksburg, Md, 6)
In the home opener for the Eagles on Saturday, Chamberlain scored four goals and dished out three assists, earning her seven points in BC's 18-11 loss to Frostburg State. Scoring on four of her six shots gave the Finksburg, Md. native an overall shooting percentage of 66.7%.

Bri Slate, Lynchburg - (Jr, - Charlottesville, VA, 9)
Slate scored four times and added two caused turnovers Saturday as the Hornets fell 14-10 to #19 Christopher Newport.

Taylor Klevenz, Randolph - (So, M - Cherry Hill, NJ, 12)
Klevenz had a solid week for the WildCats as she led Randolph to a 1-1 record. In Wednesday's 16-5 loss to W&L, Klevenz netted two goals and dished out an assist, scoring on one of her two free position attempts. She also had five draw controls. Saturday in Randolph's first ever win over Methodist, Klevenz tallied seven points (3G, 4A) and picked up two ground balls and six draw controls in the WildCats 19-5 triumph. Her four assists in a game tied the school record. She is now third in the ODAC in draw controls and seventh in total points.

Rachel Johnsen, Randolph-Macon - (Sr, M - Laurel, MD, 22)
Johnsen led the Yellow Jackets to a 16-14 win in their 2013 conference debut against Sweet Briar.  On offense, she scored two goals off of four shots on goal.  She also picked up two ground balls and broke her own school record of 13 draw controls in a game with a career and game-high 14 in the win.

Ashley Cross, Shenandoah - (Jr, GK - Agawam, Mass., 28)
Cross posted 12 saves as the junior goalkeeper helped lead SU to a 10-9 win over #14 Mary Washington.  She led SU in ground balls (4), and also had a co-team-high two caused turnovers in the program's first-ever win over a ranked opponent.

Sam Schwartz, Sweet Briar - (Sr, A - McMurray, Pa., 13)
Schwartz collected eight goals and handed out one assist to lead SBC to a 1-1 week. She notched a hat-trick along with seven draw controls in a 16-14 loss to Randolph-Macon.  She came back with five goals and a helper in the Vixens' 20-6 victory over Methodist.  She picked up seven groundballs in that contest.

Emily Conway, Washington and Lee - (Fr, - Darien, Conn., 11)
Conway led W&L to a 16-5 win over Randolph College with four goals and an assist.  She also collected a groundball.  She notched one goal and one assist in the Generals' 13-5 loss to Franklin & Marshall over the weekend.  She had a groundball, a draw control and a caused turnover in that contest.
