Burris, a sophomore from Cooksville, Md., helped Shenandoah start off the season with a pair of wins, including the program's first-ever victory over Mary Washington. SU opened its schedule with the Eagles, and Burris poured in both goals in the Hornets' 2-1 triumph. She followed that up with another marker and an assist in a 6-0 victory over Marymount (Va.). Burris leads the early-season ODAC charts in points (7) and is tied for tops in goals scored (3).

Kelly Patterson,
Bridgewater (Fr., F, Crofton, Md.)
Patterson notched a goal and an assist in the Eagles 4-2 victory
over the University of Dallas.
Kendall Moyer, Eastern
Mennonite (Fr., F, Fincastle,
Va.)
Moyer scored the game-winning goal in overtime of her first
collegiate game, giving EMU a 2-1 win over Marymount on Friday. She
registered her tally 7:06 into the extra frame, securing the
Royals' first overtime win since 2008.
Morgan Singer, Lynchburg (So., F,
Yorkton, Va.)
Singer netted her second career hat trick while leading
the #9 Lynchburg College women's soccer team to a 5-0 victory over
Birmingham Southern College Sunday afternoon. LC previously
topped Salisbury, 2-1, on Saturday.
Ally Ramos,
Randolph (So., M, Manassas, Va.)
Ramos notched a goal and two assists in a 6-1 win over
Gallaudet. It ties the fifth most goals scored as a team in
Randolph's program history.
Marlana Barnard,
Roanoke (So., F, Richmond, Va.)
The Maroons went 1-1 in the Roanoke Invitational, defeating
Birmingham Southern 3-0 and falling to Salisbury University, 2-0.
Barnard scored one goal and assisted on another in the Maroons
victory over BSC.
Megan Gerhart, Virginia
Wesleyan (Fr., GK, Lansdale, Pa.)
Gerhart guided the Marlins to a 1-0-1 season start in tournament
play. She made a key save against Meredith when she lunged to
her left to stop a penalty kick in the 56th minute. The
contest finished as a 0-0 draw.
Holley Beasley, Washington and
Lee (Jr., M, Virginia Beach, Va.)
Beasley helped the Generals open the season with victories
over Greensboro (3-0) and the University of Dallas (2-1). Against
Greensboro, Beasley assisted the first goal of the game late in the
first half and tallied a score of her own at the 48:44 mark in the
second half. Beasley followed that performance by assisting the
game-winning goal by Katie Rossi against Dallas.
