FREDERICKSBURG, Va. --- Washington and Lee freshman Sonja Meighan started off her collegiate career with a bang as she won the 2011 ITA Southeast Regional Championship Singles Title this past Monday.  She moves on to the ITA National Small College Championships in Mobile, Ala., on Oct. 13-16.

Meighan's 6-3, 6-3 win over Hailey Hogan from Johns Hopkins gives the Generals' representation at the ITA National Small College Championships for the second straight season.  Current seniors Lauren Lukas and Trelsie Sadler took part in the doubles competition.
