Wagner, a senior from Roanoke, Va., led the Maroons to a 4-0 week that included ODAC victories over Emory & Henry College and Lynchburg College. Wagner notched 52 kills for the week in 14 games played (3.71 kills/g), reaching double figures in each contest. She added 34 digs (2.43 digs/g) and seven assists in the four wins. She tallied 13 kills against both E&H and Southern Virginia, added 14 more winners against Hollins, and finished with 12 kills against Lynchburg. For the season, Wagner is currently second in the ODAC in kills (179) and kills per game (3.31) and is fourth in total attack attempts (509).

Taylor Phillips, Guilford College, Junior, Libero
In her first week as the Quakers’ libero, Phillips
averaged 8.43 digs per set in the Quakers’ two home
losses… She had a match-high 28 digs in the Quakers’
3-0 loss to N.C. Wesleyan and a career- and match-best 31 pickups
in a four-set setback to Randolph-Macon. Her 31 digs rank
12th in school history… made one reception error
in 82 attempts (..987)… Phillips played setter for her first
two and a half Guilford seasons.
Kristen Spinner, Randolph College, Senior, Middle Hitter
Spinner paced the WildCats to a win in their only
contest of the week, a five-set thriller against Eastern Mennonite.
Spinner finished the match with 21 kills on 48 attempts, also
registering six service aces and eight digs.
Mallory Carter, Randolph-Macon College, Sophomore, Outside
Hitter
Carter helped R-MC to a 2-0 week with wins over Sweet
Briar and Guilford. In the win over SBC, Carter had seven kills and
seven digs. In a win over GC, she had nine kills and 13
stops.
